Madrigal – Colombian Specialty Coffee (Whole Beans) 250g
Madrigal is our Colombian specialty coffee sourced from the hills around Santuario, Risaralda. Grown at high altitude and carefully washed, it delivers a cup that is silky, vibrant and beautifully balanced – the kind of everyday luxury you look forward to brewing.
Expect a medium, lemon-like acidity, brown sugar sweetness and a flavour profile that moves between almonds and milk chocolate. It is comforting and familiar, yet clearly a step above your usual supermarket coffee.

Brew Suggestions
Madrigal is roasted as a versatile specialty coffee, ideal for most manual brewers and modern espresso setups:
Filter: V60, Kalita, Chemex, AeroPress
Highlight the lemon acidity and brown sugar sweetness with a slightly longer ratio (e.g. 1:15–1:16).
Espresso:
For a sweeter shot with almond and milk chocolate notes, start around 1:2–1:2.2 brew ratio and adjust to taste.
French Press / Cafetière:
Coarser grind, 4 minutes steep, gentle plunge for a rounded, chocolatey cup.
Always grind fresh and use filtered water where possible for the cleanest expression of the coffee.
Craft & Roasting Philosophy
At LAVERDE ARTISAN we source coffees that tell a clear story of place. With Madrigal, the focus is on clarity and balance:
Careful washed processing to emphasise cleanliness and sweetness
High-altitude farming to develop complexity in the cherry
Roasted in small batches to bring out the natural character of the beans
The result is a Colombian specialty coffee that feels both accessible and quietly sophisticated – perfect for home brewers who care about what’s in their cup.
