Sulla Blossom Honey from Sicily – 200g

Our Sulla Blossom Honey is a delicate, creamy honey harvested in the hills of Sicily from the flowers of the Sulla plant (Hedysarum coronarium). Naturally pale in colour with a gentle floral sweetness, it is the kind of honey you keep on the table every day – elegant enough for a cheese board, comforting enough for toast and tea.

Flavour & Texture

  • Light, clean sweetness with subtle floral notes
  • Hints of vanilla and fresh hay
  • Naturally creamy texture that spreads beautifully on warm bread
  • Crystallises finely over time – a sign of quality, not a defect

How to Enjoy

  • Drizzle over Greek yoghurt, ricotta or panna cotta
  • Pair with soft cheeses (goat’s cheese, robiola, brie)
  • Stir into herbal teas instead of sugar
  • Spoon over fresh figs, pears or seasonal fruit
  • Use in dressings and marinades for a gentle, rounded sweetness

Provenance & Craft

  • 100% mono-floral Sulla honey from Sicily, Italy
  • Harvested in small batches by our partner beekeepers
  • Gently filtered to preserve aroma, pollen and natural character
  • Filled and labelled in small runs for maximum freshness

We work closely with family producers in Sicily to bring you honest, carefully made pantry staples. This Sulla honey is part of our LAVERDE ARTISAN Sicilian range – created to taste like something you would find on the table of a Sicilian home, not on a supermarket shelf.

Storage & Crystallisation

Honey naturally crystallises over time, especially high-quality honeys like Sulla. This does not affect quality or safety.

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • If you prefer it runny, place the closed jar in a bowl of warm water and stir gently until loosened (do not boil)
