Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

This statement forms part of the LAVERDE ARTISAN Corporate Impact Data Room and reflects the standards we apply across our business and supply chain.

Our commitment

LAVERDE ARTISAN is committed to conducting business fairly, honestly and with integrity. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in all its forms and are committed to acting professionally and ethically in all our business dealings and relationships, wherever we operate. We uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption, including the UK Bribery Act 2010.

Scope

This policy applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of LAVERDE ARTISAN, including employees, directors, agency workers, contractors, suppliers and other business partners.

What is prohibited

  • Offering, promising, giving, requesting or accepting any bribe, whether directly or through a third party.
  • Facilitation payments and “kickbacks” of any kind.
  • Giving or accepting gifts or hospitality intended to improperly influence a business decision, or that could reasonably be perceived that way.

Gifts and hospitality

Reasonable and proportionate gifts and hospitality given openly, for a legitimate business purpose and not intended to influence a decision, are permitted. Anything of significant value, or given to or by a public official, must be approved in advance and recorded.

Our suppliers and partners

We expect the same standards from everyone we work with. We conduct proportionate due diligence on our suppliers and reserve the right to terminate relationships where these standards are not met.

Raising a concern

Anyone who suspects bribery or corruption in connection with our business is encouraged to report it in confidence to trade@laverdeartisan.com. We will not penalise anyone for raising a genuine concern in good faith.

Responsibility and review

Overall responsibility for this policy rests with the directors of LAVERDE ARTISAN. This policy is reviewed at least annually.
