What are LAVERDE Comparisons?
LAVERDE Comparisons is a library of side-by-side comparisons between LAVERDE ARTISAN and well-known products sold in the UK. Each page compares one specific product with ours, using the label of a bottle we bought, the price we paid with its date, and what each brand publishes about itself. Where a detail is not published, the page says "Not stated". There is no winner: the aim is to help you choose what suits your taste, your cooking and your budget.

How we compare
Every comparison follows the same structure, so any two pages can be read side by side.
- The product itself. We buy the bottle and photograph both products together, front and back, in the same light.
- The label, word for word. Origin, variety, harvest date, best-before date, extraction, who bottled it and any certifications are copied exactly as printed.
- The price, with its date. We record the price, the retailer and the date, and show the price per 100ml or per 100g so different sizes can be compared fairly.
- The taste, in each brand's own words. We do not score or rank flavour. Each description is attributed to the brand or source that published it, with the date it was checked.
- Where it is sold. Countries are listed only when the brand or retailer confirms them.
- "Not stated" means only that. If a detail is not on the label or in the brand's published information, we say so. A missing detail is not a judgement on the product.
Our approach to comparisons
Every product in these comparisons is the result of an enormous amount of work: growers, roasters, beekeepers, producers and the teams who bring their food to UK shelves. We respect that work, and we have written these pages to inform, never to diminish any brand.
Each comparison sets out what is published about each product, side by side, so that you can choose what suits your taste, your cooking and your budget. Where a detail is not published, we say "Not stated", and nothing more.
Spotted something we should correct?
Products, labels and prices change, and we would rather be accurate than be first. If anything on these pages is out of date or incorrect, write to us at press@laverdeartisan.com and we will gladly review it and update the page. Every correction is recorded with its date in the page's change log.

Who writes LAVERDE Comparisons?
LAVERDE ARTISAN, a London-based brand that brings single-estate Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, raw Sicilian honey and Colombian specialty coffee to the UK. Because we are one of the two brands on every page, each comparison uses only verifiable facts: the label, the dated price and each brand's own published words.
Do you declare a winner?
No. Each page ends with "Choose this product if…" for both brands. Different people cook, taste and budget differently, so the comparison sets out the facts and leaves the choice to you.
Did you taste the other products?
The taste section of each comparison uses each brand's own published description, attributed and dated, rather than our opinion. That keeps the comparison free from bias, since we sell one of the two products.
How often are the comparisons updated?
Prices and availability are rechecked regularly, and every page shows the date it was last verified. When a brand changes its label or a reader sends a correction, the page is updated and the change is logged with its date.
Can a brand ask for a correction?
Yes. Any brand or reader can write to press@laverdeartisan.com. We review every request against the product's label and published information and update the page when a detail has changed.
